With half of iPhone thickness, it will feature a touchscreen display with a folding ring on one corner for easier handling. Nevertheless, a camera is also embedded at the rear and this XO-3 has visual keyboard for typing. To make it low-price, the charging system will adapt the Palm Pre phone by placing it on the Touchstone or by mini USB portable charger means no default charger included.

This XO-3 from OLPC is planed to be launched in January of 2010 while XO series started at $200 for XO-1.5 that uses a VIA CPU, meanwhile the pioneer model uses AMD version which provides four times the DRAM and Flash memory which gives double speed of access.
