The Onkyo MX1007A4 Netbook comes with 1GB RAM, 250GB hard disk drive, integrated wireless network connectivity through WiFi 802.11b/g (without n), Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, Ethernet jack, a pair of USB 2.0 ports, card reader and interestingly biometric fingerprint security features. Microphone and web camera is also embedded as standard features of Netbook class.
However, with long life battery, is there any performance which is sacrificed? The answer is yes. The Onkyo MX1007A4 Netbook uses a 1.2GHz Atom Z515 chip instead of Intel Atom N450 processor to save the battery life. How big the impacts of the slower CPU processor affect netbook functionality?
