Google with mobile Google apps as a vendor of some mobile application has been now launching new application to ease you understands Mandarin Chinese. If you have an Nseries or Eseries phone such as the N95 or E71, you're using S60. Many of these phones have 12-digit keypads which good for making calls, but not so easy when you need to type a few words. Many people have asked if Google could build search by voice feature for these phones, and they've been working on this feature for a while.
Google Voice Search now recognizes several different English accents, although how many accents of Mandarin Chinese it recognizes remains unclear. Online payment service provider, PayPal, plans to open API (Application Programming Interface) for developers. "API" may be used to refer to a complete interface, a single function, or even a set of multiple APIs provided by an organization. Thus, the scope of meaning is usually determined by the person or document that communicates the information. Such a move is an attempt to integrate PayPal more extensive services to various applications and devices.
Scott Thompson, President of PayPal in the Web 2.0 conference in San Francisco, USA, said that PayPal will be the provider of the first online payment service that opened its platform to everyone and API will be released on November 3, 2009.
This decision was not come suddenly. PayPal is now owned by eBay is already working with several producers of electronics and handheld devices to integrate their services. Thompson pointed out what would be done similar to PayPal so that the open Facebook API to developers, many applications that can be available on these social networking services.
He hopes, the same thing will revolutionize the digital payments business and used cross-currency and cross-platform in many countries around the world. Nevertheless, he could not specify when the PayPal service became available in a variety of mobile devices, television, and social networks. Cannot wait, let's participate using PayPal API and we always hope with using API, PayPal still being the safest way to make an online payment.
Some of us may be missing that on October 29 is an anniversary of Internet. Internet was found by Leonard Kleinrock 40 years ago and I think he was never thinking that his finding will grow very fast in years. He also never thinks that 40 year later some internet companies such as Google, Yahoo, You Tube, Twitter, or Facebookwill dominate the traffic in the internet today.
According to the study done by Arbor Networks and the University of Michigan, there are 30 huge internet companies in 2009 and dominate the traffic in the internet. Research for two years analyzing more than 256 exabytes of data traffic on the 110 cable operators, transit backbones, regional networks and content providers around the world, and get that 30 "giant hyper" responsible for 30 percent of traffic on the Internet.
Back to the history of internet finding, On October 29, 1969, Kleinrock led a team which can make a computer "talk" with others in the research section. Kleinrock driven by the belief that computers are designed to be able to talk to one another to produce a simple network, such as the use of the phone. From the picture above, Leonard Kleinrock, a computer scientist, shows the first device to connect computers in a network, which later became forerunners of the Internet. Kleinrock worked at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA), USA. Photos provided Kleinrock, but the location of capture date is not mentioned.
Key in the exchange of data between one computer and another computer is to solve the digital code and make it as separate packages. The first internet was named as ARPANET and used for military. Experiment fails to connect initially ARPANET. Kleinrock team tries to send data between computers on the ARPANET and successful. A total of two computers at two other universities are also connected at the end of 1969. This is the initial impression of the growing Internet.
Now, we are still seeing the developing of internet day by day, and I think nobody can guess what will happen in the internet for years due to technology now is also integrated with internet as well.
