Get ready for a buzz from Google! now, Google Buzz is available for mobile phone in February. The Google Buzz is a web application that only available for Android and iPhone. For Android phone can only be set up through version 2.0 or higher.


From now on, the Google Buzz has a new XHTML version. the XHTML version is compatible with pre-2.0 Android handsets, BlackBerry, Symbian S60, Windows Mobile, and Palm’s WebOS. Surprisingly, with this device the BlackBerry users enable location via their browser settings, this making them easy to find Geo-tagged posts from nearby. If you want to have Google Buzz right on your handset, just log on into buzz.google.com then viola! it is ready to run.

Android Tablet work by Google and Verizon

Google and Verizon is working together to create a tablet that run with Android system. Spokesperson from Verizon, Marquett Smith confirmed that more information about this venture will be available this week. However, the partner, Google did not say anything related to collaborate. There is no further information that can be shared about the specifications of this Android tablet, but some gadget said that the collaboration only to compete Apple iPad.

Android 2.2 Froyo is being tested

The new Google Android 2.2 is now being tested by Google [GOOG] and it is planned to be launched during the Google I/O developer conference on May 19th and May 20th in San Francisco. The Google Android 2.2 OS will give us plenty of updated firmwares and features.

New interesting feature in the Android 2.2 OS is multi-coloured trackball notifications as well as the FM Radio enabled feature. By using the new Linux kernel 2.6.32 in Froyo, it is possible to have an extra RAM on the contrary to the previous 2.6.29 version. Touchscreen problems are also going to be fixed in the Android 2.2.

Dell Streak tablet also comes in 7” and 10”

We have written before about the news of Dell Mini 5 “streak” tablet which announced first time at CES 2010. Today we got information that Dell Streak tablet will also come in 7 inch and 10 inch variant. The Dell Streak itself will be powered by Google Android OS, WVGA touchscreen display with 800×480 pixel resolution as well as an integrated 5MP digital camera with auto-focus and flash. It’s cool enough for the tablet class. Another interesting add-on is built-in Amazon apps (book reader, video streaming app, audio player).

Well, with colorful design and three different sizes it will make users have some choices based on the price and color also the sizes. The Dell Streak is supposed to be a competitor for Apple iPad market by next year where the 7-inch model will hit the market by the end of this year while the 10-inch by early next year.

Apple and Microsoft to compete Google

Apple has just launched their PC Boot Camp 3.1 update and it also supports Windows 7 both 32-bit and 64-bit version for Mac users. Not only the OS that supports windows, the utilities and the hardware including keyboard and mouse also now supports Windows 7 to run. The older problems of Apple Trackpad and Laptop LED issues are also corrected in this update. The update can be downloaded at Boot Camp 3.1 support service.

Nevertheless, Apple now has intense cooperation with Microsoft where Apple rumored to change their iPhone’s default search engine to Microsoft Bing. This accelerate might be to compete their (Apple and Microsoft) rival (Google) where now Google has expanded their business to hardware concern with their debut Google Nexus One and Android.

According to Neilsen.Co, 86% of mobile users choose Google Search as their search engine while only 11% who use Bing for search in November. Most of iPhone users also change their default iPhone search engine to Google. Google is still phenomenon I think.

Motorola Shadow will be Google Nexus Two (Rumor)

The success of Google Nexus One at the market has been rumored the next of Google Nexus. We always can speculate about the next generation of Google Nexus One and probably named as Google Nexus Two. Some speculations said that it would be an HTC vendor to be the next Google Nexus Two, but another comes that Motorola Android-based phone, the Motorola Shadow, will be the next of Google Nexus.

As rumored before the end of 2009, Motorola Shadow will appear as the sliding QWERTY phone with a 4.3 inch WVGA touchscreen display, HMDI port, and an 8MP camera with HD video recording including the wrist band as the accessories. Looks great, I think. But it’s all still in our waiting list to see the detail of Google Nexus Two.

Google mobile app now integrated to your Blackberry contacts

Google Mobile added their application for Blackberry by integrating the contacts to the application. This application allows you to search your Blackberry contacts using Google Mobile App. You just need to type or even only speak with the voice search and quickly reply to an email or forward it on, send an SMS, and call a friend.

This application looks like a contact search and work as Google search itself. You just need type a name of your contacts and all the activity related to your contact will be shown on the screen. It’s like a call log in other phones.

If you need to call or send a text to your contact, you just need to press the corresponding button and the choice will appear on the screen and let you choose which conversation you want to do.

It will simply us to do our call and if you do not want Blackberry App do it for you, you can simply switch it off Phone Search in the options screen. Don’t be afraid because your contacts privacy is safe where Google Mobile App will not send any information about your contacts to your email.

Nevertheless, this Mobile App is only available for Blackbery OS 4.5 or higher for email searching feature but for contacts searching is available for Blackberry OS from 4.2 version and higher. To download it through your Blackberry, you can visit m.google.com.

Google finally reveals Nexus One

As rumors we have known few days before and we also got the demo video then the prototype is unveiled to the public, today, Google officially announced their newest Android-powered phone running the latest Android 2.1 software- Nexus One- via the official site.

Via the official site you can even be attracted to try on the phone through the image of Nexus One so you can feel it like on your hand. With this launching of new Google Android phone, it will soon hit US market and will be an iPhone competitor. Unfortunately, Nexus One will only now be available in the US, Britain, Singapore and Hong Kong for $US529 ($578 unlocked). However, Google claimed to launch it to the worldwide. If you are in US, it will cost for $80 per month with T-Mobile operator contract and you can get cheaper Google Nexus for only $179.

Google Chrome OS tablet by HTC

Tablets become a hot gadget which gonna be a wish list for this year and it’s supported by some vendors who have built many type of tablets. From OLPC with the cheap tablet to the most rumored of last year Apple iSlate and now HTC turn to build a new tablet for 2010.

HTC plans to build a Google Chrome tablet which is running a newer version of Android 2.1 along with a 1GHz snapdragon processor. This tablet will compete other tablet built before and later (I mean Apple iSlate which known yet about the exact name, iSlate or another rumor is iGuide).

Tablet will hit 2010 because of its simple and compact design will ease us to us and to hold. With a netbook capability, tablet will also threaten the netbook market for this year among the touch screen mobile phone which is also powered by Google Android.

Google Earth comes to Audi A8

If you are driving an Audi A8 series, you will not go lost in town anymore. Today’s car has mostly featured by GPS system which can navigate you through the roads anywhere, but nit with Google Earth. Audi makes a breakthrough with build Audi A8 with Google Earth Satnav system and becomes the first car that adapts this Google technology.

The satnav system of the Audi A8 has an internal hard disk drive and uses GPRS/EDGE/3G connectivity that keeps the Google Earth data streamed to the system. Even though we failed to connect to the internet due to lack of signals, the HDD of the system will store maps and direction database and still can work properly.

Google Earth allows the Satnav to show buildings, landscapes, traffic in 3D system. The system is also linked to your desktop computer and has an ability search for an address on the computer and sends it to the car; when you start driving, the car will know where to go. Only Audi A8 series will feature this system and no detail yet about this technology in other lower specifications of Audi.

Goo.gl – URL shortener service from Google

Google has just launched a URL shortener service called Goo.gl where a similar service has been served by TinyURL and Bit.ly. This new service has been built into Google products, beginning with Google's browser toolbar and its Feedburner RSS service.

Short URL now is needed to shorten a URL for twitter or Facebook post to reduce the use of character. Twitter integration is also added to Feedburner which will let website publisher automatically update their twitter feed from their Feedburner RSS feed, which uses the new Goo.gl URL shortening service.

Japanese scientists never die to make a great creation after making a robot chef which will be your future chef, now the technology is still related with a kitchen. Two Japanese researchers from Keio University have created a YouTube embedded microwave to kill your boring time in waiting your soup.

Called as Castoven, this gadget powered by 10.4-inch LCD screen in the door panel and also built-in a speaker to the microwave. However, this web oven is not independently connected to the YouTube server but through the Mac computer then connect to the internet. Little bit unworthy to say this gadget is a big great idea today with that case while the idea is based on the aim to make people be worthy spending time using internet in every electronic appliance at home.
