PlayStation Blu-ray 3D update arrives in September

The 3-D Blu-ray has been revealed that the update will available and it will actually hit consoles s in September. The interesting parts is the 3D upgrades will arrive later to bring 3D photo compatibility to the machine. I can say this is really imperative that the company's games console/multimedia machine is capable of displaying them. The PS3 to read .mpo filetypes and present them on a compatible 3DTV by using the firmware.



Senior director of Sony Europe Mick Hocking stresses that Blu-ray movies and still photos will be at the forefront of the 3D revolution; it is gaming that will drive adoption. Here are some games which adopted 3D in up-coming such as Killzone 3, Motorstorm Apocalypse and, the much anticipated, Gran Turismo 5.
