Polaroid Launches PIC-300 Instant Camera

Ah Polaroid, I thought this camera will be gone forever. According to the latest news Polaroid has launched a new instant camera the Polaroid PIC-300. Just like the old model you will be able instantly print out photos. However, the new model prints out smaller photos than the old one. The pictures from the PIC-300 are about the same size as a business card about 2.1 inches by 3.4 inches as opposed to the 3.5 inches by 4.25 inches of the old Polaroid photos. The Polaroid PIC-300 will be available $90 and the film is $10 for 10 photos.

First virus troubled Apple iPad

New virus has found only attack Apple iPad which was reported by BitDefender. It said that malware link sent to iPad users as an update of iTunes. This malicious link has a good temptation to the users clicking the link which set into an email. it offers users to update iTunes such as "…best performance, newer features and security".

The virus called ‘Backdoor.Bifrose.AADY’, when users downloaded the code will injects itself into the explorer.exe then allows unauthorized access and control the system, but this virus will not effected into your PC, only for iPad.

Samsung Germany has launched two editions of Samsung Star; they are S5230 LaFleur and S5230 FIFA World Cup Fan Package. The “Fan Package” Star is white, while the LaFleur edition is red and has a nice floral pattern on its case. Both series has a 3 inch WQVGA display, accelerometer, Bluetooth, HTML browser, 3.2MP camera and MicroSD card support.


The launch of both phones inspire of FIFA World Cup, the latter is made with the occasion of 2010 FIFA World Cup – where Germany will play in Group D against Australia, Serbia and Ghana. Both phones offer interesting price, starting on May the price will be €245.

Android 2.2 Froyo is being tested

The new Google Android 2.2 is now being tested by Google [GOOG] and it is planned to be launched during the Google I/O developer conference on May 19th and May 20th in San Francisco. The Google Android 2.2 OS will give us plenty of updated firmwares and features.

New interesting feature in the Android 2.2 OS is multi-coloured trackball notifications as well as the FM Radio enabled feature. By using the new Linux kernel 2.6.32 in Froyo, it is possible to have an extra RAM on the contrary to the previous 2.6.29 version. Touchscreen problems are also going to be fixed in the Android 2.2.

The OpenGL ES 2.0 is also provided for the developers As well as offering the above tweaks it is also reported that more access to will be provided to developers which allows the developers to access better graphics capabilities specifically on the Google Nexus One. Another features which is rumored will be embedded on the next gen of Android is Flash 10.1 support.

With the release, what vendor will adapt this Android 2.2 for the first time where many of vendors ready to launch their Android device including Motorola and HTC.

LG SU420, world’s first DMB 2.0 phone launched

LG Electronics has launched SU420 in Korea as world’s first phone to support DMB 2.0. SU420 LG which called Café also equipped with an integrated mobile TV receiver that support DMB mobile 2.0, which mean easiest way interactive multimedia. LG SU420 comes with a 3.2-inch WVGA touchscreen LCD, built-in Wi-Fi, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack and microSD card slot and 3-megapixel main camera. Toshiba now in Android and Windows 7 slate tablets

Toshiba has been affected by Apple iPad to produce slate tablets. It is now prepping slate tablets run Android or Microsoft OS. By the news Toshiba tablets come up to two different flavors, some run on windows 7 and some on Android. The Android tablets will be the cheaper of the two models, because Android is an open-source OS. It also packs a 10.1-inch touchscreen display.

While Windows slate tablets will be more expensive for its licensing fee, however, it is a more powerful processor. The packaging is dual screens which can be seen on the Microsoft Courier tablet. Toshiba slate tablets estimated launch on this year or early next year.

Dell Streak tablet also comes in 7” and 10”

We have written before about the news of Dell Mini 5 “streak” tablet which announced first time at CES 2010. Today we got information that Dell Streak tablet will also come in 7 inch and 10 inch variant. The Dell Streak itself will be powered by Google Android OS, WVGA touchscreen display with 800×480 pixel resolution as well as an integrated 5MP digital camera with auto-focus and flash. It’s cool enough for the tablet class. Another interesting add-on is built-in Amazon apps (book reader, video streaming app, audio player).

Well, with colorful design and three different sizes it will make users have some choices based on the price and color also the sizes. The Dell Streak is supposed to be a competitor for Apple iPad market by next year where the 7-inch model will hit the market by the end of this year while the 10-inch by early next year.

This September, the General Motor’s humanoid Robotnaut2 has a change to explore the space. Well, I called this as a great robot in science technology given by NASA. It has gold on top of its head; moreover, it’s weighs 300 pounds.

Of course Robotnaut2 would not be able to walk alone by itself, but its journey the space as an assistant to the astronaut throughout the space walk. We have reviewed before about Asus EeePC 1005PE which has long life battery up to 14 hours for standard use, this record now has been broken up by Onkyo MX1007A4 Netbook that able to function up to 14.4 hours battery life.

The Onkyo MX1007A4 Netbook comes with 1GB RAM, 250GB hard disk drive, integrated wireless network connectivity through WiFi 802.11b/g (without n), Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, Ethernet jack, a pair of USB 2.0 ports, card reader and interestingly biometric fingerprint security features. Microphone and web camera is also embedded as standard features of Netbook class.

However, with long life battery, is there any performance which is sacrificed? The answer is yes. The Onkyo MX1007A4 Netbook uses a 1.2GHz Atom Z515 chip instead of Intel Atom N450 processor to save the battery life. How big the impacts of the slower CPU processor affect netbook functionality?

Dreamoc is a holographic 3D video which is developed by Danish Company, Realfiction, and has made the patent for this technology. We got a direct confirmation about the patent numbers of this design.
Clas Dyrholm, Realfiction staff, told me that they already hold the legal rights to market and sell this design in Europe, the US and Japan with patent numbers are:
